Beberapa hari sebelum NST nak launch depa punya online e-paper apps, Chief ZZ panggil masuk bilik..

Dia tunjuk set of photos yang dia print, gambar di kilang arang Kuala Sepetang.

"ini gambar sapa?"

Aku jawab "gambar saya Chief"

"asgmnt mana ni?, I tanya Linda cari asgmnt sheet.. tadak pun, you simpan kah?"

"Takde asgmnt sheet, kami ( pi dengan Aizuddin Saad ) pi sendiri je last week on our off day.. balik hari"

"You bring our badge (refering to media pass) pergi luar kawasan, tanpa bagitau sesiapa untuk amik gambar atas sebab kerja tanpa maklum office.. You ni ada tau makna common senses kah?

If anything happens to you and Aizuddin?

No one knows kan?.. and this photos, apa you guys ikut naik boat sampai ke dalam hutan sana.. Ini apa? "

Nada tinggi, bukan marah.. Dia sambung lagi

" I don't think you guys dah dapat office equipment kan? "

" Maaf Chief, saya belum tau any SOP atau protocols if nak pergi keluar time off day pun kena mintak izin.. err, ada dapat tapi saya pinjam kawan punya 5D, mine is tak best"

"You bukan budak keluar kolej masuk sini, You orang lama yang baru kerja kat sini.. Tak tau, tanya!"

"Baik Chief, saya mintak maaf"

"Is this all in the system (Fotoware)?"

"No Sir, just the best 15"

"Gimme all"

waktu petang (mungkin) call tanya ini series apa nama? dia mau pitch the series for upcoming epaper apps. Aku bantai je Black Gold of Kuala Sepetang.. asal ada je.

Terima kasih Chief Zahari Zakaria.. one of many who have shaped directive on my photography philosophy today. Pertama kali dengar "To take a photograph is to align the head, the eye and the heart dari dia sebelum tau itu ialah petikan dari Henri Cartier-Bresson.

NOTA KEKAKIAN: in 2008 or 2009 gitu, NSTP amik satu langkah yang luar biasa, their Photo Department buat satu pengambilan untuk jawatan Photographer.. bukan dari fresh graduate - tapi recomendation by the industries.

I do believed that Haji Shamshahrin Shamsudin and Mr Bazuki Muhammad ada terlibat dalam kerja kerja scouting ni kan?

Sebab tu by our first year of service, kebanyakkan dari kami dah pergi merata dunia untuk asgmnt.
